My girlfriend has a 2 year old HP laptop with Vista. She just got Comcast internet. They both worked fine for 2 days.

Then 2 nights ago, her machine just shut off for no reason, she booted it back up, and now no internet. My Mac works fine, so I know its not the Airport. I unplugged the Airport, reset the modem, and the HP, plugged it in directly, still no internet. I plugged the MacBook in directly, works fine. So I isolated it to the HP laptop.

The wierd thing is her computer shows full signal, excellent connection, when connected to the Airport, or directly -- it just doesn't work. So, tell me what to look at or check for.
