Way cooler than any other etiquette book of it's time, with card games, tricks, cocktail recipies, and a bonus page of excuses to throw a party.

Reading this book is like watching an old movie. You're reintroduced to old ways and concepts. Many of them funny. Good book with good basic entertaining ideas. I learned to appreciate the art of a rigorous ice cube and a well made drink. The book is a gold mine of old school drinking and party advice, everything from Stocking the Cellar to Highballs.
