I had to take mine apart But I DO NOT reccomend anyone do that unless you are extremely adept at this kind of work and you will void the warranty Having said that, The device Could be made a bit sturdier.

Overall Review: One up testing by several of my clan members reported that using this device demonstrated quicker reaction times and smoother screen movement while in game. By virtue of not having to hunt keys to perform complex moves. I would be remiss if I didn't add Props to NewEgg for being the best online supplier by far. Fast and efficient and always keeping the buyer Informed!!

Pros: The price is the biggest pro right now. It fits my hand pretty well. It's built of quality and doesn't look or feel like it will fall apart. Cons: One of the draw backs I feel is the lack of buttons. The "W" key on this is at the top, leaving no room for those normal spots. You could remap the controls, but it feels weird and isn't really designed to be use that way. This could be because I am not used to the controller yet or my hand isn't quit big enough. Overall Review: I'm please with my purchase.

It was a cheap investment and the free shipping makes it totally worth it. If your looking for a new 'toy' to play around with this could be it. Thats why I got it :-D. Pros: Does what it is supposed to, keep my expensive wireless keyboard from getting hammered while gaming.

Pros: Belkin had a great product when it came out over two years ago. Fully customizable and can mimick a full keyboard with the press of a shift key.

Bottom rubber grip keeps it from sliding. Better than a keyboard for a pro gamer. Cons: Don't buy if you're a novice or recreational gamer, thinking it will make the game easier. It won't! Belkin does not offer much in the way of profile updates for specific games like other brands. You must design your own. Which can be very complicated. It can also be used outside of games, for example to support cartographic software. The device is currently supported under Windows 98, , ME, XP both and bit versions , and Vista both and bit versions.

It is also supported under Mac OS 9. Intel Mac drivers are supplied. The n52 is made in a black and silver design with a few orange accents. It features a rubber-coated base, and is weighed down with a metal weight for stability.

The user must place his left hand on the device to use it, as it was designed for right-handed people, who usually use a mouse with their right hands. The n52 has a movable hand rest which can be set to 2 locations or removed to create 3 different hand positions to better suit various hand sizes by means of lifting the rest off the unit. A large space is used for a keyboard-like section with 14 keyboard keys, numbered 1 through 14, by default used to represent the WASD space on regular keyboards in the case of first-person shooters, one of the intended target audiences of the n These keys can be controlled with the users second to fifth fingers.

Below where the thumb rests, there is a slightly wider keyboard-style button, labeled 15, similar in use to the shift key on regular keyboards. On the right side of the device, there is a scroll wheel, like those normally found on mice, which can be controlled with the index finger. To the right of that, there is a round button, as well as an 8-way D-pad normally found on gamepads, intended to be used with the thumb.

All of these controls can be programmed with the included 'Nostromo Array Programming Software' to emulate any keyboard function or keyboard macro. They can also be programmed to change the device's 'state'. The n52 has 4 different color-coded states, indicated by 3 LEDs below the fifteenth button. If a user changes the state of the device from the normal one, the red, green, or blue LED lights up, and all other controls now represent a different function.
