This are new machines and one OS. However I formatted the OS partition i left the system reserved partition intact and cloned over it. Resulting in 2 entries pointing to the same partition. I can get rid of the double entries via msconfig, however it changes the startup to selective startup. I did not even touch any services yet. If i revert to normal startup, it restores the old boot sequence and the double entry is back.
